My wife has ITIN till last year and we filed jointly. This year she has a social security number and we filed using social security number. Return was rejected by IRS saying that my wife's last year's AGI is wrong. Has anyone run into this ? What was the resolution ?

Is there any body out here ported eb3 to eb2 from same employer.
If so what was the process. I have 5 years of experience and 4 yrs of Bachelors Degree.

Unfortunately your current job experience can not be used for the GC process. If you want to start the EB2, you need to find job

advantage I will have is I am guaranteed to stay till my 9th year H1 expires which still has 2+ yrs left, and at the same time take second job on EAD and travel on AP. If I choose to switch to EAD then if the 485 decision is against then I would have no option of staying here.

My EAD is going to expire in 3 months and I am filing for my renewal now. What can be done if you don't get the EAD renewal response before the expiry of the current one ?
I heard somewhere, that if you don't receive the renewal notice within 60 days, then you can approach the local USCIS office and get a temporary EAD card for 90 days.
Anybody knows more ?
Also, generally do folks approach their lawyers for extension filing or they do it themselves?

I just thought of sharing this update on my case for the benefit all those whose apps were received by J Barrett at NSC.
My checks got cashed last night. The details are below:
Received by J Barrett at 10:25 AM at NSC
Case was transferred to CSC and back of our checks show receipt #s as WACXXX
I had an LUD on my approved I-140 on 7/28/07
My I-140 was approved from TSC in May 2006
My PD is Jan 2006; EB2-India

In same context, if I140 is approved with employer A as a future employee. Can present employer use it to extend visa by 3 yrs, w/o going through labor/GC process

I am on H1B visa. My parents due to a medical condition cannot take care of themselves. They need someone to be present with them 24 hrs a day. Can I get them on H4 visa as dependent? I would like to keep them for 2-3 years in US and take care of them. Please let me know my options.

Parents are not considered dependents . So i am not sure they can come on H4 visa. I can understand the situation ( being the only son of my parents with deteriorating health ). Once in a while i think of getting rid of this stay in USA and heading back home and caring for the ones who raised me to adult hood.
There may be more avenues , let more knowledgeable people in this forum comment.

We received our receipts on Aug 24 and we haven't got any FP notices. Ours is TSC.

Could you please share how you filed SR, my h1 extn is pending for 92 days.
You need to ask the person, who filed the extension to call USCIS Number and the representative will open SR for you if you are eligible, i.e. Your receipt date is less than Processing Dates by 60 days. Only employer can call for opening SR.

1.Mine is having case number as LIN08801XXXXX which is fine, because my entire GC process since past 5 years is in Nebraska Service Center. I'm the primary applicant
2.But wife's case number is different, which is NSC08801XXXXX and clearly mentioned in the notice that her case is with national benefits center, Lee's summit MO.( By the way we live in Missouri)
The entries for "Class requested" is shown as C09 in both cases, which i believe correct.
Help:
