I've seen reports from the UK that suggest it is no longer unlocked, it will not activate on O2 network...

you may wanna brush up on your CSS a little edesignuk, you would be surprised what CSS can control
mind you, IE doesnt support some tags, but CSS can do everything from onfocus to simple IF statements (firefox supports on focus of textbox while IE doesnt, inwhich case you would check the browser version and implement javascript for onfocus where IE doesnt support it from CSS)
i have had a hard time controlling form elements in safari, but i havent spent much time with safari as my primary concern. we dev primarily for firefox, then for IE and check to make sure stuff works in safari. thats just the way we have prioritized the browsers
il stop here as to not turn this into a flame war, but theres quite a few books on CSS if your a bit behind times. you should also know theres different CSS versions.

The closest I have is a 130. The Newtons got a bad rap, but I have a soft spot for them all. I also have an original, as well as a 2100.

Had chili and quinoa for dinner tonight in celebration. Vegetarian, of course. Unfortunately the quinoa was Peruvian but close enough.
I've had quinoa in a salad, but not with chili. Was the quinoa in the chili, or on the side? Either way, sounds good.
Back to the subject... It's good to see a mining crisis have a relatively good ending for once.

The iBook's screen display 1024x768 and is set to be able to mirror it's own display onto another (show exactly the same image as the actual iBooks' display). However, there is a screen spanning hack (http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/ibook_e.html) which does three things.
It lets you run an external display at higher resolutions (easily making it up to a 17 inch monitor's 1280x1024 or whatever it is).
It lets you span the display. This means you can have different things on different displays, they're not merely mirrored.
And finally it voids your warrantee.

Personally, I've always been a bit touchy about buying electronics on eBay. If I were you, I'd go for an actual retailer.
http://preview.tinyurl.com/3tdwj9p (link to a Newegg search for the RAM you need)
That guy on eBay is selling each 4GB stick for $39, while Newegg has a pair for $80. The $2 difference (perhaps less after Newegg free shipping) is worth the peace of mind IMHO. I have a pair of 4GB G.SKILL sticks in my mini, and they work perfectly. Also, you should be fine with 8GB - I have that much in my early 2009 mini, and it's a peach.

I actually like the 6G ipod nano. In fact, I would run out today and buy one if it had bluetooth.

After a week's decline, it's up this morning.
I don't know if Wall Street regards this as major. Last week, I think, was just some profit-taking after the recent runup from about $45.

Can anyone help?

Guitar Hero without the guitar. Makes perfect sense.
Because the actual guitar hero is really anything like playing a guitar at all? (Disclaimer, I do play guitar and I rarely play Guitar Hero).
I'm impressed, anyway, at the $2.99 pricetag for a major franchise. Doubtless they're interested in the massive opportunity for impulse buying song packs. Does it have over-the-air multi-player?
After playing some Beatles Rock Band over the weekend, I guess it would help my rhythm some, but meh, turning on the dirty channel on my amp and shredding is mostly more fun. :)

I've used a lot of routers over the years, and the WRT54G is the best I've come across. Linksys (imo) have the best looking ones (apart from Apple of course) and the best interface.
The WRT54G also has a fairly big selection of 3rd party firmware for it, the best of which is, in my opinion, Wifi-Box's releases.
This (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/wifi-box/wfb_2.02.2.6-tp.zip?download) is the firmware that I've been using since it was released, and it's been 100% stable on me. It adds quite a few new features, one of which lets you change the transmit power.
By default, it's at 25% this lets you go all the way up to 100% However, it's recommended not to go over 50% unless you open the router up and add a fan, as it starts to overheat.

What is concerning to me is that I wrote a comment, "nice affiliate link" in that thread. And my comment was deleted. not flagged or edited -- deleted.
We generally don't send messages to people making post reports as it is a time consuming process. The moderator who handled this case recognized the affiliate link as being from MR so knew nothing needed to be edited in the OP's post. I'm not sure what flagging your post would have done, and if we simply edited every post members made that was an incorrect statement, it would needlessly clutter the forums. Also, reporting a post, plus responding to the post you reported generally causes more work for us moderators, so we prefer you simply report the post only.
In short the your post was deleted because it was off-topic, and the moderators generally don't make personal follow-ups on these kinds of edits because of the time it takes. The Contact Us form is there for when members have specific questions about moderation if they really want clarification from us. And we have no issue clarifying our actions when people ask.
